During my visit to see Cauleen Smith's work, I also went into this other part of the Museum and saw this work entitled Staring At The Sun. His work was captivating because the actual floors of the gallery were covered with what seemed to be clayish mud. There were these colorful paintings of people and you just couldn't ignore the brown of it all.
This work is important to note because my hope for my div work would be to use all the space I encompass to do my work including the floor, like with my ideas for the labyrinths and maze making on ground.
I also think the subjects are bold. You really feel their eyes, their sense of style and also burden.
