In this project Advised by Yasotha Sriharan and Serena Himmelfarb, written and visual creative art pieces were produced along with an explored analysis of contemporary culture and history in order to confront the violent institutions embedded in our systems of communication and combat them with mental and physical health practices. black feminist pedagogy in collaboration with map-making and path finding were centered as a creative means of traversing our own past, present, and future emotional healing and liberation. additionally, for people to evaluate their own positions in supporting the celebration and life of black girls and women, forms and commentary were designed to create to conversations on accountability, intersectional oppression, equity, environmental communication and sustainability.
